Mr Paul J Cavicchi - Chairman

Paul J Cavicchi

Based in Houston, Paul brings over 25 years leadership experience in the international energy industry across a range of gas and power projects which includes development and construction of LNG infrastructure. He holds a BSCE, MSCE, and MBA.

Paul’s most recent executive position was as Executive Vice President of GDF SUEZ Energy North America, Inc. (GSENA) a subsidiary of GDF SUEZ Energy International where he supervised and directed all business development efforts for GSENA in the United States, Canada and Mexico. His responsibilities included corporate and project acquisitions, greenfield development in the areas of merchant power generation, renewable power generation, industrial cogeneration, gas infrastructure (including LNG) and retail energy services. His responsibilities also included the commercial partnering and financing of investment assets. He was responsible for a development budget of $20 million annually, and a construction budget that often exceeded $2 billion in annual value.

Previously Paul had been President & CEO of SUEZ Renewable Energy NA, LLC and before that President and CEO of SUEZ Energy Generation North America, Inc., all based in Houston.

Paul is a Registered Professional Engineer, State of New Hampshire, and has an MBA from the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Mr Gregory M Vesey - Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Gregory M Vesey

Greg joined LNGL as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective 4 April 2016, based in Houston Texas.

Greg has held senior executive roles in the international energy sector through a distinguished career of 35 years with Chevron and Texaco.

Most recently he was President of Chevron Natural Gas & Vice President, Gas Supply and Trading from 2011 to 2015.  In this role he was responsible for Chevron’s Global LNG, natural gas, and natural gas liquid marketing and trading activity and was based in Houston. Previously as President of Chevron Global Power Company, he led a business unit which held a portfolio of commercial power plants and projects in the U.S., Asia, Middle East and Europe.  Prior to that he led Chevron Technology Ventures for five years where he was responsible for creating a portfolio of new opportunities in technology commercialization, emerging energy and Chevron's venture capital investing.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

In 2015 he completed a four-year term on the board of the Natural Gas Supply Association of America which is based Washington DC, the last two years of which he served as Chairman.  He currently serves on two non-profit boards - Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas and the Alley Theatre in Houston.

Mr Richard Jonathan Beresford - Non Executive Director

Richard Beresford

Richard Beresford holds a BSc (Mechanical Engineering), MSc (Technology and Development) and a member of FAIE and FAICD. He has over 30 years' experience in the international energy industry spanning research, technology commercialisation, strategic planning, operations, consultancy, business development, acquisitions, marketing and general management.

Richard spent 12 years with British Gas plc, including 3 years in London  managing a portfolio of downstream gas and power generation investments in Asia and 4 years in Jakarta as Country Manager.  He joined Woodside Petroleum Limited in 1996 where he became General Manager, Business Development, then Managing Director of Metasource, Woodside's green energy subsidiary, until 2001.  Richard was Head of Gas Strategy and Development of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited from January 2005 to March 2007.

Richard held the position of Executive Chairman of ASX listed Green Rock Energy Limited, a Perth based energy explorer and developer from March 2012 until May 2015 and prior to this appointment, he was the Managing Director and a non-executive director of Green Rock Energy Limited from September 2008.

Richard has also been a non-executive director of ASX listed Eden Energy Limited since May 2007. 

Mr D Michael Steuert - Non Executive Director

D Michael Steuert

Based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Mike brings valuable international financial management experience.

Mike’s most recent executive position was as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer of Fluor Corporation where his focus was on risk and project management, SOX, compliance and ethics, capital structure strength and development of world-class finance function.

Previously Mike has been CFO of Litton Industries; CFO of GenCorp Inc; and prior to that, held developmental controllership and treasury positions in US and Europe with TRW Inc.

Mike also holds Board positions with ProLogisInc; Weyerhaeuser Corporation; and Kurion Inc.

Mike earned both Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Carnegie Mellon University and has completed Post Graduate training at Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.

Ms Leeanne Kay Bond - Non Executive Director

Leanne Kay Bond

Leeanne is a professional company director with board roles in the energy, water and engineering services sectors. She has qualifications in engineering and management, and 30 year’s experience across a broad range of industrial sectors including energy, minerals, infrastructure and water resources. 

From 1996 to 2006 Leeanne held a number of management roles with Worley Parsons in Queensland, including General Manager (Qld, NT & PNG), where Leeanne negotiated project alliances and supervised contracts and projects with many Australian and international companies.

Leeanne is a non-executive director of Snowy Hydro Limited and non-executive director and deputy chair of Territory Generation (Power Generation Corporation owned by the Northern Territory Government). Leeanne is also a non-executive director of JKTech, a company wholly owned by the University of Queensland and a board member of Engineers Australia. She is the sole director and owner of Breakthrough Energy Pty Ltd, a project and business development consulting firm.

Leeanne was a non-executive director of ASX listed Coffey International Limited from February 2012 to January 2016.

Mr Philip Moeller - Non Executive Director

Philip Moeller

Based in Washington DC, Former Commissioner Philip Moeller left the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in October 2015 as not only the second-longest serving member in the history of FERC, but also the only person in the federal government in a Senate-confirmed position who was nominated by both President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama.

While serving on the Commission he focused on policies that encourage the construction of additional electric transmission and interstate natural gas infrastructure and policies promoting well-functioning wholesale markets. He was a national leader in promoting improved coordination between the electric industry and the natural gas industries as the United States moves toward burning significantly more natural gas to meet electricity demand.

Prior to serving on the Commission he headed the Washington office of Alliant Energy, worked in the Washington office of Calpine Corporation, and served on the Washington, D.C. staff of Senator Slade Gorton from his home state of Washington. Previously he was the staff coordinator of the Washington State Senate Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications Committee in Olympia, Washington.

Phil was born in Chicago and raised on a ranch near Spokane, Washington. He is a graduate of Stanford University in Stanford, California.
