Community Relations

Magnolia LNG’s donations support a variety of charitable organizations and projects that improve the quality of life and stimulate the economy in the five-parish Imperial Calcasieu region of Southwest Louisiana. This area encompasses Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jefferson Davis Parishes.

We strive to contribute to a society that is healthy, educated, environmentally safe and productive. We invite eligible organizations to apply for funds for sponsorships using the linked PDF below. Applicants must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) or other applicable section of the IRC and operate exclusively for charitable, scientific or educational purposes.  All documentation submitted to Magnolia LNG becomes the property of the company.

Areas of Giving
Focus areas for funding include civic and human needs in the community while promoting healthy lifestyles; major and cultural arts that promote access to underserved students and communities; disaster relief efforts; and environmental, preservation and wetland initiatives.  We are especially interested in supporting groups that reflect the diversity and inclusiveness of our community.

Community Action Committee
Receipt of applications will be acknowledged. Funding decisions are made quarterly at the sole discretion of our Community Action Committee, consisting of private residents of the Southwest Louisiana region and are not paid employees of Magnolia LNG. The Community Action Committee meets regularly in January, April, July and October. Funding decisions are not subject to review or appeal.
