  • November 2016: Received DOE approval for LNG export to Non-FTA countries
  • November 2016: FERC issued Order on Rehearing reaffirming its April 15, 2016 FERC order
  • April 2016: Magnolia LNG received FERC authorization (FERC Order) to site, construct, and operate facilities to liquefy and export domestically produced natural gas from the proposed Magnolia LNG terminal. FERC also authorized the Kinder Morgan Louisiana Pipeline LLC (KMLP Pipeline) to install compression and other related facilities on the KMLP Pipeline, facilitating the transportation of full feed gas volumes to the Magnolia LNG project.
  • November 2015: Magnolia LNG received Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) from FERC
  • November 2015: Legally binding EPC contract signed with KSJV, a joint venture betweenKBR and SKE&C
  • July 2015: Offtake agreement for up to 2 mtpa agreed with Meridian LNG
  • July 2015: FERC Draft Environmental Impact Statement received
  • May 2015: EPC bankable contract terms and conditions agreed (except for final cost) and initialized with KSJV; US Patent Granted for OSMR® Technology
  • April 2015: FERC Notice of Schedule For Environmental Review received
  • February 2015: Magnolia EPC Contractor Joint Venture between KBR (70%) and SKE&C (30%) is finalized
  • January 2015: Signed EPC MOU with KBR and SKE&C; signed Gas Pipeline Interconnect Agreement
  • July 2014: Kinder Morgan files FERC Application to Transport Gas; FERC accepts Kinder Morgan’s Filing; and signed non-binding EPC Contract Term Sheet signed with SKE&C
  • April 2014: Formal Application submitted to FERC. Appointed key executive positions
  • March 2014: Received DOE approval for additional 4 mtpa exports to FTA countries. Signed Term Sheet with AES Group
  • February 2014: Engaged Financial Advisor (BNP Paribas) and signed MOU for FEED/EPC (SKEC)
  • January 2014: Opened office in Lake Charles. Signed Precedent Agreement with KMLP

  • March 2013: Received Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) pre-filing approval
