Gregory Vesey - President of Bear Head LNG Corporation

Greg Vessey

Gregory Vesey is President of Bear Head LNG Corporation and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Liquefied Natural Gas Limited. Greg has held senior executive roles in the international energy sector through a distinguished career of 35 years with Chevron and Texaco.

Most recently he was President of Chevron Natural Gas & Vice President, Gas Supply sand Trading from 2011 to 2015. In this role he was responsible for Chevron’s Global LNG, natural gas, and natural gas liquid marketing and trading activity and was based in Houston. Previously as President of Chevron Global Power Company, he led a business unit which held a portfolio of commercial power plants and projects in the U.S., Asia, Middle East and Europe. Prior to that he led Chevron Technology Ventures for five years where he was responsible for creating a portfolio of new opportunities in technology commercialization, emerging energy and Chevron's venture capital investing.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

In 2015 he completed a four-year term on the board of the Natural Gas Supply Association of America which is based Washington DC, the last two years of which he served as Chairman. He currently serves on two non-profit boards - Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas and the Alley Theatre in Houston.

John Baguley - COO LNG Limited

John Baguley

John joined LNGL in May, 2014 as the Magnolia LNG LLC Chief Operating Officer (COO) based in Houston, Texas. In November 2015 he was named as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for LNGL in addition to his ongoing role as MLNG COO; and in June 2017 he was appointed as COO for LNGL.

John brings over 30 years’ experience in the successful delivery of front end engineering design and EPC services for major LNG plants and projects worldwide, including serving as a Project Director, Project Manager and Engineering Manager for some of the world’s most challenging facility locations. He was employed by KBR for 33 years prior to joining LNGL, where in addition to his project roles John held the positions of Vice President – LNG Development and Vice President - Project Management for Gas Monetization. He provides LNGL a proven record of bringing innovative projects and concepts into operation. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the US State of Texas.

Paul MacLean - Strategic and Regulatory Affairs Advisor

Paul MacLean is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University and the Technical University of Nova Scotia. He has over twenty years’ experience in the environment and energy sectors, principally related to project development activities. Paul has held senior advisory roles in the development, financing and acquisition of businesses in the natural gas and LNG sectors. Paul has acted as the senior advisor to Access Northeast Energy Incorporated, Alton Natural Gas Storage and most recently, Paul was the Senior Advisor to Anadarko Petroleum Corporation on the development of the Bear Head LNG terminal as a regasification project. Paul joined Bear Head LNG Corporation as the Strategic and Regulatory Affairs Advisor on 27 August 2014.

Ying Liu has 19 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, treasury, commodities and risk management.

Dean Hart - Manager of Environmental & Construction Approvals

Dean Hart

Dean joined the Bear Head LNG Project team on 1 October 2014. He will provide leadership and direction in collaboration with the Bear Head LNG Management Team to support the Project Permit work currently underway to further the development of an export Liquefied Natural Gas facility. Dean comes to Bear Head LNG with extensive permitting knowledge and a strong network of partnerships with many government and Industry representatives in Nova Scotia. Dean recently retired from the Nova Scotia Department of Environment after 28 years of service.

Ghislain Pitre has over 21 years’ of combined experience in the environmental, mechanical, and marine engineering fields and holds certifications in environmental and mechanical technology, including 5 years with SNC Lavalin.
