Greg Vesey - Executive Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Greg Vesey

Greg joined LNGL as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective 4 April 2016, based in Houston Texas.

Greg has held senior executive roles in the international energy sector through a distinguished career of 35 years with Chevron and Texaco.

Most recently he was President of Chevron Natural Gas & Vice President, Gas Supply sand Trading from 2011 to 2015. In this role he was responsible for Chevron’s Global LNG, natural gas, and natural gas liquid marketing and trading activity and was based in Houston. Previously as President of Chevron Global Power Company, he led a business unit which held a portfolio of commercial power plants and projects in the U.S., Asia, Middle East and Europe. Prior to that he led Chevron Technology Ventures for five years where he was responsible for creating a portfolio of new opportunities in technology commercialization, emerging energy and Chevron's venture capital investing.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

In 2015 he completed a four-year term on the board of the Natural Gas Supply Association of America which is based Washington DC, the last two years of which he served as Chairman. He currently serves on two non-profit boards - Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas and the Alley Theatre in Houston.

John Baguley - COO LNG Limited

John Baguley

John joined LNGL in May, 2014 as the Magnolia LNG LLC Chief Operating Officer (COO) based in Houston, Texas. In November 2015 he was named as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for LNGL in addition to his ongoing role as MLNG COO; and in June 2017 he was appointed as COO for LNGL.

John brings over 30 years’ experience in the successful delivery of front end engineering design and EPC services for major LNG plants and projects worldwide, including serving as a Project Director, Project Manager and Engineering Manager for some of the world’s most challenging facility locations. He was employed by KBR for 33 years prior to joining LNGL, where in addition to his project roles John held the positions of Vice President – LNG Development and Vice President - Project Management for Gas Monetization. He provides LNGL a proven record of bringing innovative projects and concepts into operation. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the US State of Texas.

Maury Hudson - VP Operations

Maury Hudson

Mr. Hudson joined Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (LNGL) in January, 2015, as Vice President, Operations and Maintenance (O & M) for Magnolia LNG, LLC. His responsibilities also include O & M for Bear Head LNG and other LNGL development projects.

Mr. Hudson is responsible for the O & M teams that will start up, operate, and maintain LNGL’s liquefaction production facilities. He has spent over 20 years in the hydrocarbon processing industries with experience including LNG, ethylene, butadiene extraction, gasoline and aromatics, NGL and propylene fractionation, butane isomerization, isooctane, gas processing, underground salt dome storage, truck/rail/marine terminal operations, and NGL pipelines. Prior company affiliations include OxyChem, Equistar, Enterprise Products, and Cheniere where Mr. Hudson served as Vice President, Corpus Christi Operations after holding various technical roles in support of Sabine Pass LNG and Sabine Pass Liquefaction. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Global Business Management, both from The University of Alabama.

Rafael Hernandez - VP Construction & Engineering

Rafael Hernandez

Rafael joined Magnolia LNG, LLC in August, 2014 as Vice President Engineering & Construction based in Houston, Texas.

Rafael has held progressively senior roles in the oil & gas industry for more than 20 years through a diversified career with EPC and operating companies, Bechtel and ExxonMobil.

Prior to joining Magnolia LNG, LCC, he was Construction Manager on the Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. Previously, he served in Project Management and Construction Management roles in Thailand and Indonesia. Previous projects included design and construction responsibilitiesin LNG liquefaction and regasification terminals, petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas field facilities and cross-country pipelines throughout Texas, Louisiana, Mexico, West Africa, and the US Virgin Islands.

Rafael holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
